There are five simple but powerful things that you can do to support the Hands Off MY Net campaign:

• Sign the Hands Off MY Net! petition.
• Write or e-mail your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
• Write or e-mail your federal government representative.
• Link to the Hands Off MY Net! Web site from your own Web sites and blogs.
• Tell your family, friends and co-workers about the Hands Off MY Net! campaign and urge them to do all of the above.

To ISPs, we represent revenue. To Politicians, we represent votes.

To be heard by either group, we must demonstrate that massive numbers of Internet users oppose filtering and other forms of Internet censorship. But we must also be prepared to move our Internet service subscriptions away from ISPs who support mandatory filtering. And we must move our votes away from politicians at all levels who support Internet censorship.

Together, we can stop Internet censorship and preserve the right of end users to choose the Internet content they wish to access.
